Explorer slow when accessing WD cloud

This started about a month ago, went I access my "WD-mycloud home" drive and folders display normally, but clicking on sub-folders takes as along as 30 seconds to open that folder. If I use smart I-phone/I-pad access is normal.

Open to ideas.

I have a WD MyCloud 2TB NAS drive attached to my Router via Ethernet cable, hasn't given me any trouble yet but I don't run WD's software, has a security issue and no update for it. It's not much slower than when first set up. I Map the Public folder on it from any computer I'm working on, mostly for file storage and access.

I am running Western Digital's WD discovery as I also have a few WD My Books. Also running a WD NAS. No issues here.

BTW, if running or wanting to run WD Discovery (also used to sign into the drives) make sure you get the latest version (currently 4.4.396) as previous versions prevented Core Isolation (Memory Integrity) from being enabled as explained here: WD Discovery Desktop App Version 4.4.396 under "Advisory Summary"

As for the OP's issue, I have no ideas.

Finally took my WD My Cloud 2TB NAS drive out of service, replaced with a 2 x 2TB NAS running RAID 1 for total capacity of 2TB. I removed the WD 2TB Red Label drive from the NAS case and repurposed it as a Data drive in my Win11 Desktop.
