File Explorer question.

Is there any way to make the postings larger for the file explorer ,i understand how to get the postings increased in size in other postings, but all posting in the file explorer remain small.

The size of fonts "letter and number sizes"

I believe you mean the size font in file explorer. Yes, you can using a little tool called Advanced System Font Changer. Advanced System Font Changer - WinTools.Info
The element you would need to choose is ICON. Increase the size gradually until you get the effect you want. This will change the size of font on both your desktop icons as well as file explorer results. It is a standalone app. No installation.

I referred you to the advanced tool when the simple one would probably be a better choice. System Font Size Changer - Increase Text Size in Windows 10

yes, Be sure to change gradually and only one element at a time until you get what you want. Once you get explorer fonts(and desktop fonts) the way you want, it may affect your line spacing in file explorer. ONLY if it does, you can change spacing in file explorer by clicking VIEW>SHOW in file explorer. Then turn on or off 'compact view' to allow more or less space between lines.

Keep in mind font size has a direct relationship between your scale and resolution settings. I played around with my settings a long time until I got a balanced result that suited. I first set scale (settings>system>display) to look best on the size monitor I use, in my case scale at 125% with a resolution of 2560x1440. On some laptop screens this might need to be at default of 100%. From there I tweaked the different elements. If you mess up the app has a section for restoring default settings.

I have found that any time my graphics driver gets updated, I have to change my settings again.

I have an old version of that same app that I much prefer, but it's no longer available. If you want it PM me and I'll upload it.

Just checked the file that is posted there (for download scroll deep to the borrom of the page), compared it with the file that I downloaded long ago from the maker's site. It is exactly the same and has SHA256:

Edit: that's the one I use for Windows 10 and Windows 11, on any build until now it functions.

I've found that leaving 'Menu' at the default size is best, or else apps like Office apps will look ridiculous.

You think Windows looks ridiculous as it is, so ....
