Hi, I have one stationary game computer with Windows 11 a year old. Cable connected.
One Windows 10 computer and one HP 840 with Windows 11. Cable connected.
The HP 840 can see the other computers in my network and can open shared files. It is on wifi.

The game computer can not se any computer in the file explorer, not even my own. Just a NAS that is connected to same network. (Why can´t I see my coputer in my file explorer any moore??? It worked before.)
This computer is the one I need to be able to reach shared files mostly on the WIndows 10 computer.
All computers are set to profile Private. They have filesharing on. They all connected to one printer that is on wifi with no problem.
They all have the latest updates. File sharing has worked earlier. Nothing really changed in settings. It seems that windows updates cause the problem.

For a home user it is really a pain nowadays to get filesharing to work. And there is no really guides for it.

Can someone solve the problem for me I would be very happy.

Possibly SMB1 is disabled -- check the level of SMB is the same on al computers - that's usually the first place to start. Also ensure "Network discovery" is on and "Allow remote connections to this computer" to be set as well.

Suddenly the computers showed upp i file explorer. But I can´t access the files. I can see the shared folders, but can´t open. Even when I gave the folders full access. The only folder I can open is the folder called Shared. I find this stupid. Full access and still not be able to open the folders?!

In my laptop the other computers showed up. Next time they were gone, even the laptop didn´t showed up. I can see the laptop in the game computer.
