Frustrating junk mail

Do not block them at the client level (Outlook Classic or new).
Block them at the email provider level by setting rules there.
As a result, they get deleted and never make it to my inbox or trash folders on any of my email clients.
I have not received any spam for quite a few years now.
I use GMX but I am sure that other providers have the same option.

What I did is to make a rule to remove ALL incoming email (even the ones you want to keep) and set an exception to this rule such that it won't remove any email address that contains a "@". In that case Outlook will delete any incoming mail with no email address unless it's a normal email.

Of course you can add additional rules for spam mails that DO have an email address.

Ok Johnny mate, sorry for the late reply, but I have been caught up with other issues with my new laptop.
I do see they have email addresses with the @ in them; for example, one that is really persistent is "Pokie Spins Casino <notifications@lendix.space>" and is typical of the other gambling sites' messages.
So if I applied your fix, does this mean that these wretched nuisance sites like the one I have put in this message are going to get through?
Now as I do get up to and over a hundred a day despite clearing the Junk folder every time I go onto the machine, if that worked but I could access the genuine emails it would be really good.
The other option is to allow genuine senders but that would take forever as I do buy a fair lot of stuff and they always send confirmation emails regarding any purchase I make so making that a real chore for even those times that are just a one off purchase.
Frankly, Outlook, although I do quite like the format, is so convoluted and makes life really difficult when it cannot just follow any rules I set.
