System restore about once a week, frustrating...

Okay, today I spent some quality time, solved a long time lingering problem (run not saving searches). Also had a CSR stack verification warning that appeared at the most recent boot, did a quick search, uninstalled the CSR stack, rebooted, bluetooth still working, so between shadow driver uninstalls and the CSR stack removal, all is really good. Progress.....and no problems so far with the interwebs after repeated hammering that would usually fubar the OS, and then needing a restore. Fingers crossed. Still, a most annoying time with Win 11, lots of work to get it working hopefully decently....

Like I said, a clean install usually bypasses most of these kinds of issues. Upgrades look really cool since you get to keep your applications and save lots of time, but they're not the ideal way to upgrade, at least for something like Windows.

I think it is solved. This is a summary of what I did. Many more than once. Opened and tested all apps after Win 11 install, removed apps that didn't cooperate. In place upgrade install 5 times in an effort to quell problems. Removed faulty Burner (Huge lag culprit), did AMD driver cleaner package, reinstalled newest chipset drivers, let Windows default the Vid card driver (no AMD package), removed all shadow copy drivers in Device manager after the sysdm.cpl command to expose all hidden drivers, removed the faulty/incompatible CSR stack, cleaned the registry with each 'change', the last clean after the CSR Stack removal yielded over 240 duplicate CSR Stack entries, I have to assume it was polling, causing registry problems and interfering with the interwebs. My phone is paired using bluetooth to Phone Link, it got funky on occasion, now OK. There are many other things I did along the way that had no effect. The OS has a different feel/flow now, very smooth and crisp....

Sleep function test today, if it works without browser page faults on wake up, mission finally accomplished. Yes, a clean install would probably have saved a lot of misery. Fingers crossed...
