Get rid of OneDrive bar in Office

Good morning all,

I would like to get rid of this OneDrive bar that pops up whenever I open an Office document.

There is a rather convoluted workaround dated 3 December 2023 slightly below the middle of page 3 of this discussion, with a PowerShell version in the next reply. I run this PowerShell script using Task Scheduler every morning at 9am. This was the only solution I found that works for me.

Thank you very much Gary. But running a script every day is too much trouble for me.
