I did! And I would love that but there are certain features that I need in the gaming department and as much as I'd love to remove MS: Shop and some of the other stuff, I need the image format add-ons and the likes that only seem to exist on there and with the full bloated OSes. I installed Compact on one of my laptops and already much prefer it, and it's so snappy! It's amazing how fast it is. I also installed Glasswire and Kaspersky and as far as they go the installation is safe. Although, my desktop and the laptop have very different traffic. My desktop's OS barely talks if at all while the laptop:

Just today it made a new connection to settings-prod-scus-2.southcentralus.cloudapp.com and an IP I believe to be Kaspersky DNS.
Apart from today, the previous ones that 80% of span the day and in fact minutes after I first powered Ghost Spectre 11 Compact on just repeat every now and then. Compared to my desktop that practically doesn't have any chatter from the operating system, however I put that down to me having partly crippled (as far as I'm aware) its ability to do so. For the record, it's all Waterfox, Asus processes from the likes of LootCrate (currently unisntalled), EzUpdate and so on with Adobe phoning home whenever it's running.

Compact us running at 2.5GBs out of 16GB DDR4 (17% usage) on a Ryzen 3500U with some laptop AMD and HP processes I'm unfamiliar with that I think got installed in the background from firmware, plus Kaspersky is running on top but only taking 3.1MBs currently. All of these background processes are actually tiny and the CPU is idling at 1% with Task Manager open until a background process wakes up where it goes up to 5% only to smoothly drop again.
My heavily customised desktop in comparison, which runs Windows: 11 Professional averages 3.1GBs of usage out of 16GBs DDR4 with 2-10(ish) per cent CPU usage on a Ryzen
[email protected] with a lot of Asus background processes along with the typical from NVIDIA and Windows. Widgets, Weather and such are deleted, Edge is also fully removed however the equivalent processes on the laptop to my desktop that I can tell use more RAM. To achieve this I manually clicked through the processes I didn't want and that aren't essential in Task Manager, opened to file location and renamed their file extensions to 'exeold' and they stopped running. To uninstall the system applications I used ThisIs11 and I use ShutUp10++ for the rest. I must also mention that before ThisIs11 I had at max 9GBs usage and minimum usage of 4 odd and having my max usage go down by even four gigs in some cases is very impressive! I do want to have a challenge and remove Windows Hello at some point, I bet that would get some RAM down! It definitely has for Ghost Spectre.

Discord - half a gig
A.O.C. G-Menu (usually running) - a few meg
Logitech G-Hub (running sometimes) - a few meg
StartIsBack11 - a few meg
Waterfox - 1-5GBs

For the sake of a gigabyte less (Compact, 2-3GBs less for Superlite) I don't see the point where my desktop is concerned, and Superlite I don't think would work for me with the stuff that I do. However, the next time I do require a new Windows install I will be using either LTSC or Ghost Spectre, that's a fact. And I must admit actually, since I ran ThisIs11 I haven't had a Bluescreen which is something that's frequent on my desktop. I haven't been able to confirm it, but crashes are much more frequent when Discord is running. Also, my desktop didn't become any smoother or quicker noticeably after debloating it.
If you were to ask me whether or not I think Ghost Specre is more secure than official, I would say Ghost Spectre. I would say it's more stable as well, however I am yet to do any video editing and power user stuff on it. There's all this talk of having to bypass security to install it, I just used Rufus to put it onto a USB stick and it installed without a hitch. And also installed what feels like three times faster than official 11 does with both Home and Professional.
