Morning All

Have two Quadro P5000 GPU's built into my new box. Sometimes the system will freeze on boot (gets to the windows logo & the wheel of doom turns 90° then freezes). It can sit for 10 minutes like this then springs into life!
Doing some digging and it appears the VBIOS on each GPU is slightly different although they are both DELL card's according to GPU-Z, have tried to run a VBIOS update from DELL but it won't run on Win 11 :ffs:.

Will this make a difference?

Yes I do have that app. I considered saving the VBIOS from the one card & blowing the other one to bring them both up to the same standard.
A recipe for disaster possibly but where's the fun without bricking a piece of hardware!

Those being professional Graphics Cards and two of them may mean the different VBIOS is intentional if you bought the system as a whole, but it seems you made it yourself so I assume it is just chance when purchasing those 2 Cards.

That really is a question for Dell and Gigabyte.

"Will this make a difference?"
Very unlikely, you are making assumptions that the problem is the VBIOS. My first thought is that the DDR5 memory modules are configuring themselves, but there can be many guesses like that.

I did a Nvidia VBIOS update for my laptop, just described as recommended, no detail, came from the Laptop manufacturer and a couple of pages of instructions and checks, Windows 11.
I have done 100s of Firmware updates to various bits of hardware over the years and zero difference afterwards, but at least no brick production.
