The settings all seem to be the best I can come up with. Also, I have installed the latest drivers.

What seems to be the issue with the "Fonts" you mentioned in the OP? If the fonts are fuzzy or not as clear as you like this might be caused by an improper graphics setting. Incorrect Refresh Rate settings for the monitor? Try changing the Text sizing. Or it's always possible the monitor itself is the issue, which changing the video card won't fix.

It doesn't say whether you'd need to remove a drive cage to put in a 16" long graphics card, but you shouldn't need to worry about that with a card that is 10" or shorter.

That's an old case. I may have scrapped one, years ago.

But hold off. I'm pretty sure you'd be wasting your money.

Spending that amount (or less) on a 27" 2560 X 1440 monitor might be a better investment.

Nice monitor. I have had really good luck with Acer monitors. Most of my monitors have been Acer and they have lasted for years. I have never had one need to be serviced or replaced as of yet, and one of them is seven years old.

And it has Freesync, which will pair nicely with your AMD graphics (5700G).

For this one, you may find the 32 inch a little grainy at QHD resolution. I haven't tried it out so I am not quite sure. Best thing to do if you are looking at that size of monitor is go into a computer shop and have them show you a QHD monitor that you can sit in front of and look at the text and graphics.

The Acer says 240 volts? I wonder if the one I received would be 110v for my area or, maybe selectable?

If it is sold in North America it will be 110 to 120 Volts.

Am I blind? I don't see a link to "The Acer".

Looking at other models, the spec is 110-240VAC. Apparently it auto-detects. (That's not universal, but not unusual.)

I've been called out for "110V" in the past. The current US standard is 120V.
