Out of curiosity, why did you choose that monitor, among the various 32" class 1440p monitors on the market? I don't intend that as a criticism. Maybe you have criteria that could inform others.

Not knowing much about the various tech meanings, I just picked that one. Got tired of looking, when I didn't understand all the different specs. If, it turns out to be troublesome I'll use my 30 day return option. Mine says XV323QU not sure what the difference is if anything.

When checking the Amazon price, the specs show 240 volts? Surely they mean 120-240 volts as I've seen with monitors else where? If so, they need to be more specific.

Call me an optimist, but I doubt that Amazon in the US would sell a monitor that couldn't operate on US 120V. (It's a Sold By Amazon item.)

For my own use, I would have preferred a 3840 X 2160 display at 32". The suggested text scaling in Windows 11 is 150%, so the text size would be the same as 100% in a 2560 X 1440 display. (You could go higher than 150%, if needed.) But I believe that would take you into the <$350 range (at the low end).

You'd be paying a little extra for a fast gaming monitor.

I don't own one of the Samsungs.

Buying from amazon may be a a good idea, if only because of their liberal return policy.

None of the flat panel monitors I've owned has suffered from unsharp text. The edge lit LCD ones have had light bleed.

My current primary monitor is OLED. No light bleed or blooming. But not a $300 monitor.
