I got my laptop around ~ November 2023, this is my first laptop ever
Lacks much, if any, experience in opening up the back of it or whatnot
okay yeah after an ec reset nothing really changed tbh, i think im gonna leave it as it is because i am not experiencing any other issues unlike before, everything else except the bluetooth delaying my laptop for ~3 seconds upon turning it on (off battery) and ~1 second when turning it off. the wifi issues and disk issues havebeen gone... so i think ill leave it as it is

however, if anyone has any suggestions, ill be willing to give it a try! i was reccomended a windows ereinstall by an msi employee but i might hold that off until i need it or if i feel like it during my holidays
You could try a reinstall of Windows as suggested but I have a feeling your Bluetooth issue will come back to haunt you. For this reason (and others) I do not use Bluetooth. Every time I use it issues seem to result. Some claim to have no issue with it at all. Either they must have very expensive Bluetooth hardware or their systems must be very Bluetooth friendly. Myself, I'd rather use optical to radio frequency devices or direct connect (hard wired). Radio frequency carries further and doesn't make anything glitch because it uses isolated power. The drawback is interference from other sources. Getting clean signal is an age old challenge. Bluetooth has never impressed me but again, user preference prevails.

It is good to learn that more crucial issues have been solved. If your lag or hanging only occurs when you use Bluetooth I will consider this thread solved. As far as your laptop is concerned the issue has been eliminated. As far as Bluetooth is concerned. . . Well, I wish you the best.

Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
I don't particularly use it all the time, it was just annoying and I was wondering if there was a fix. However, I believe this is honestly part of a bigger issue, and my laptop disk errors are back 😭if youd like, you can look at my new thread to see the details, but there was another freeze earlier
