Hello
My friend has Lenovo Legion Y530 (i7-8750H, GTX1060) , the laptop has SSD and HDD, he has Windows 11 installed on the SSD, and stores his data on the HDD.
Suddenly with no prior notices, the partition D (Which is the HDD) disappear and can't view/access data stored there.

He has to restart the Windows to be able to view the HDD, but sometimes he has to do multiple restart times to view the HDD!

I told him to export his Event Viewer logs. I saw it, but I don't know exactly what the issue, all what I think is MSSQLSERVER service (In Systems events) could be the problem. But I didn't take any action regarding this.
I have uploaded the events on Google Drive, and I hope someone could help us locate the problem.

Events files are scanned with VirusTotal and they are clean: (Application Events) (System Events) (Setup Events) (The compressed file in attachments)
He said that this problem occurred at 21-2-2023 nearly in noon (Before or After). And in the events I saw MSSQLSERVER service error at 10:38 AM.
Thanks.

hmmm, I suspected too that the cause could be bad sectors. Too bad, it's just two years and the HDD starts to fail like this!
He already told me that he backed up his most important data.
Also I want to add that this problem doesn't occur everyday, but yeah he should take care and make more recent backup.
I told him to use SeaTools (SeaGate official tool) to check disk health or HDDScan and I hope he won't find bad secots.

Update: My friend ran a test using SeaGate official tool and there was nothing wrong, everything was fine.
After the test, the problem didn't occur again. This is really strange! Anyone could have a clue?
But I guess he should go to the technician to see if there is a problem with the HDD connection with the motherboard.
