So, you don't have to click the plus-sign to get a new tab?

I like conservation of movement, but I'm not sure I can imagine this being a feature that's needed unless you need a lot of tabs, STAT!

LMK if I'm reading this incorrectly.

That's likely a much more useful feature.

It's like when you take a couple tools out for a project... then go back to the shed 15 more times until you end up with half of what you own pulled out for the driveway: I never plan to add more than one tab, but I often have 8 to clean up.

I always wheel-click pertinent search results to open in individual background tabs, so I don't have to back-page to the original results page, then I check them out, then rapidly wheel-click them closed.
Another example:
When I log on here at 11F, I open all my new notifications in like manner, address them, then close them the same way.

What do you mean by "wheel click"? What function do you have your mouse wheel designated to do?

The default is Middle-Click, which performs a host of actions depending on the app.

Interesting. I never used "Middle Click" before. I think I'll stick with "Show Desktop". That normally needs a lot of movement whereas "Middle Button" in a browser isn't much of an improvement over clicking the "+" or the "x" to close a window. It's all about conservation of movement!
