Someone here was very kind and posted a powershell command directed towards me that listed all the volumes on a computer's disks and which disk they were located on. I thought I made a favorite for it, but can't find me. Can that kind person point me back to it, please!

I believe this was it...

PowerShell -Command "Get-Partition | Select DiskNumber, PartitionNumber, DriveLetter, Type, IsSystem, IsBoot, IsReadOnly, mbrType, gptType | Sort-Object -Property DiskNumber, PartitionNumber | Format-Table -Autosize | Out-String -Width 1000"



I too thought it was an excellent command, so I saved it to a text file. :-)

YES. It was definitely @Paul Black ...and it was definitely on Ten Forums.
I remember now cause my system gave a weird result, so I PM'd him about it.

Under the GPT type column, on my system, it turned up all CLSID numbers.
So I PMd him to ask... why? I didn't know if that was normal or not, because the example he posted had only MBR disks (type 7).

No boot from my SATA drive? - Windows 10 Help Forums

I had a SATA SSD running updated Win 10 on an old laptop, SATA set in BIOS to AHCI. It was cloned earlier from an earlier HDD. I installed it now in an Asus P5440FA that also has a NVMe running Win 11, after upgrade. But I cannot make it boot to the SATA
