HELP!!! Unable to boot win after efi partition resizing

isn't there a command 'make drive bootable' on many partition software apps? Put the app on a usb drive and point it at C drive, and tell it to make it bootable. it should only over write a small area (I think the area is already designated on ssd drives for that).. If right now the drive is a brick, what would it hurt? Cannot help with bitlocker, I myself have no need for that and never want to use it, I cannot tell others not to. But I will never use that.
idk really, for bitlocker it was open since i bought the device for me i wont have used it

You could try testdisk @jumanji might be able to walk you through it

@jumanji may have some comments on testdisk and the getdataback results.
On SIW2's call, I did a qutck run-through this thread, and was shell-shocked to read OP's statement in his post #38 - "also forgot to mention bitlocker is on, think its on since i bought the laptop"
The OP didn't even know that his HP Elite x360 with Windows 11 Home on it encrypts all internal disks/drives - Device encryption- on initial setup with Microsoft Account and he had tried to update BIOS and has crash-landed into this situation.

"One should suspend or disable BitLocker/Device Encryption before a BIOS update because the update changes system security settings, causing BitLocker to fail to recognize the security key (Trusted Platform Module or TPM) and trigger recovery mode, which demands a recovery key or risks data loss/reinstallation. Suspending it allows the update to proceed without this security check interruption, and you can easily re-enable it afterward.

Why it happens:
Security Changes:
BIOS updates modify fundamental hardware security configurations (like TPM settings).
Key Mismatch: BitLocker relies on these hardware settings; a change triggers a security alert, as the system sees an unauthorized modification to its secure environment.
Recovery Mode: The system then asks for the BitLocker recovery key on every boot,
which can be inconvenient or lead to data loss if the key isn't readily available."

The OP had failed to do this and has further manipulated and tried to enlarge the EFI partition.

In this situation no data recovery progaram be it Disk Genius, Getdataback. or TestDisk will help. One has to explore other ways of tackling the issue.

as i need the lapatop so of there is no hope i will clean install the windows
Then whip out the existing drive, replace it with a new drive and do a clean install, making sure Bitlocker is disabled, and get on with whatever you have to do

Then get an external enclosure for the (problem) drive and work on it from there

No, not now @idgat. We are actually at the fag end of the process. Once the OP provides the data asked for, me and other experts can analyse and check whether there is any light at the other end of the tunnel and decide whether the disk can be restored.

The other crucial point is that, if he takes the disk out and puts it into an external enclosure, it will totally be impossible to recover the data. If we find that the disk is locked, we won't be able to unlock it for this process of unlocking has to be carried out by the BIOS + TPM in the mother board. (In Device encryption External disks will not be encrypted and not controlled by TPM)

Continuing with my post #87 here is the screenshot of Windows Disk Management taken with HBCD snipping tool and saved to another flash drive.

Capture1.webp

Right click on "This PC"> Manage > Storage -Disk Management. Take the screenshot with Snipping Tool-find it in the Task Bar. By default HBCD will try save it in the Pictures folder. Change the location and save it to the HBCD Flash drive itself so that you can access it in another PC and post it.

Incidentally when I tried to save it to the D: drive which is encrypted, it asked for the Recovery key to unlock it. Though I have the key on file, I chose to save it to another flash drive. This implies that if you find the Key in your Microsoft account and is not corrupted by the botched BIOS update, you should be able to unlock your C: . If successful you should be able to access all your files and copy to an external disk. Let us see if you are lucky.
( Hmmmm.... I have been having this HBCD flash drive for a longtime and update it to newer version whenever a new version is available but this is the first time I used it on my PC and learnt something new.)

Do you have BitLocker recovery key?

Follow these steps to turn off BitLocker:

  1. Type the following command, replacing the example numbers with your actual 48-digit recovery key:
  2. manage-bde -unlock c: -rp XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX
Note: Your recovery key is 48 digits separated by dashes. Make sure you use the recovery key specific to your device.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Wait for the message that says Successfully unlocked volume C:.
Now try to recover your files.

Unfortunately i think no, in my ms account there is nothing stored there, also i want to ask is thats why its showing the drive storage is empty ? As if data is encrypted or something ? Otheriwse it would show the real storage space used & free Or data is gone already

Because of encryption, we can't view and recover files its best to clean-install Windows 11 as the all instructions to boot Windows 11 will fail.

Because of encryption its saying storage space is nearly empty ? & Data is still inside ? Or this storage info indicates that data is already gone ?

Even if the data is "there", without a recovery key you will not be able to recover it.

I know, but im asking is the data there or no?, for knowledge im asking, i mean it shows empty but data is encrypted & inside & it shows empty for the corruption happened in the Fs for example or data is not there ? I asked the shop i bought the laptop from if he can retrieve the old owner no. He would have the bitlocker key, hope is low but a trial wont cost me anything
