Do you mean that after getting the HP laptop from the seller, you reinstalled Windows with rufus modified ( disabled bitlocker encryption/automatic encryption) Media Creation Tool? If it is so, that has not cleared the TPM. Your post #92
manage-bde -status C: clearly shows Encryption paused: 99.9% encrypted. It is all messed up - inexplicable. At this point however your 2TB disk remains unencrypted (I am surprised) and all your files are accesssible in HBCD.
Copy all those files to another disk before a clean install - as I said earler as a matter of abundant caution.
Now clean insatall windows.
Turn on your PC.
As soon as you see the Windows or manufacturer logo (e.g., Dell, HP, ASUS),
press and hold the power button until the device shuts down completely.
Repeat this process
three times. On the fourth restart, let the PC boot naturally. It should display
"Preparing Automatic Repair" and eventually load a blue screen with "Advanced options"
WinRE environment > Troubleshoot > Reset Select either
Keep my files (removes apps and settings but keeps personal files) or
Remove everything (deletes all personal data, apps, and settings).
Note: I would prefer to choose
Keep my files. Let us see whether after the install your personal files in C: are readable. If not you can repeat the install abinitio after deleting
all partitions and formatting the SSD, and choosing
Remove everything option during the reset process.
When prompted choose the
"Cloud download" option instead of
"Local reinstall".
We do not want "Local reinstall" which will install the rufus modified Wim in the Recovery partition. It is no longer the factory wim or untampered Windows11 wim.
Download & Reset: Windows downloads the latest installation files and then reinstalls itself, giving you a clean system with updates.
Note: You must have an active, stable internet connection. Download size may be 4 to 6 GB. Depending upon the speed of your internet connection it may take sometime to complete the download and start installing.
When Windows starts after the clean install it will clear and reset the TPM ( provided the updated BIOS is not corrupt). Both your system disk and the 2TB disk will start encrypting with Device encryption. Let the encryption complete, Do not stop the encryption. If you do not want encryption you can turn it off in Settings later and your disks will be decrypted.
