How can I disable "Turn on Windows Backup" notifications?

I would still like to get notifications about other things, but I don't need to be notified about using OneDrive.
Does anyone know how I can disable this notification? Preferably using a registry hack.

Edit: To be clear I am not retarded. I know I can click on No Thanks. I am looking for a way to customize windows so that this message does not appear in the first place. A.K.A debloating Windows.

This is a shot in the dark, have you selected the "No thanks" in the notification selections?

Yes it will stop the prompt after it has already been displayed. However I want to avoid seeing the prompt in the first place.

No, I wasn't joking. I never encountered the issue you are experiencing, therefore I thought the "No thanks" would prevent the message. If you paid attention to my reply, I stated "This is a shot in the dark" which implies that I don't know if it will work or not. You did not explicitly state that you apparently tried "No thanks" which I anticipated would resolve the issue of displaying the prompt.

See if this is what you want. Settings>system>notifications>under 'notifications from apps and other senders' find 'backup settings' and turn it off.

This will probably stop all notifications from onedrive as opposed to that specific notification.

I have worked as a sysadmin for years, so I know how to click on a button or how to uninstall software. Thanks for these banal suggestions though. I was hoping maybe someone knew a registry hack to avoid seeing these messages.

Not really, Windows Backup is not an app per say, it is just GUI for Windows Backup Settings stored in onedrive.

As far as I'm concerned, that pop-up is not merely a notification, it's an ad..., the first step in a clever process to coerce the user into buying more cloud storage.
You have choices:
• Uninstall OneDrive and be done with it,
• Quit OneDrive and disable it as a Startup item and hope for the best,
• Click on 'Let's get started' and run with it.

Did nobody spot the "remind me in 1 week" thing? I've said no thanks five times so far with one machine. It asks you again in the time you select, and there's no "never again" option, I've now turned off onedrive notifications in system settings as suggested here, I don't use it, and if I did, what on earth would it need to notify me about? Onedrive is just somewhere to place files so others can get them.

I can't try it now as I just dismissed the message, but those three dots top right of the message, usually you can choose to turn off notifications from there. Sometimes it won't let you though.

Quoting myself since comments cannot be edited...

Appartently this is an Ad from Microsoft wanting me to buy more OneDrive storage. I have three NAS devices with redundant backups so I don't even have thr onedrive app installed. Yet this annoying giant pop up continues to plague me.
