Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 OS build 22631.3235 (First install 22H2 ‎04/‎10/‎22)
Basically what the title says.
On Win 10 just right click the App and use the 'Open File Location'.
That option is not available anymore - Is there another way to do it?

At a quick look, just type the name of the app in search and you can do it like this.

I'm not on Win 11 at the moment, but can't you just open File Explorer and search the C:\ drive for notepad.exe

Is there another way to do it?

A complete list of installed Apps including their directory will be displayed by running the command
get-appx-package get-appxpackage (corrected upon Ghot's hint)
in a Powershell.

Most of the Apps are located under
C:\Windows\SystemApps
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

This is an older PC for testing new OS,
Furthermore: 4 Dell/HP laptops on Win7 Ultimate x64, used for NAS, Media server, browsing, workshop and sound studio

Yes I tried that - very slow, returns 10 items 8 of which are notepad.exe.
Want to do this for various items and it is tedious and may pick wrong item.
From the above reply it should work on my machine and obviously doesn't at the moment.
My Win 11 was built yesterday as a 'System Reset' not a 'Clean install' - could there be some hangover problem that is causing this?

Whenever I install an OS there are certain programs I want to find the location so I can create a shortcut to that location.
Most of the common ones will be in C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32

Also, I just Google what I want. Like... where is task manager in Windows 11?
Google is a lot faster than Windows search. :)

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
Some apps have the location displayed, but not all.
Maybe this is related to the access to the C:\Program Files\WindowsApps folder is restricted.

Whenever I install an OS there are certain programs I want to find the location so I can create a shortcut to that location.
Absolutely, and I put them in a folder on the desktop for easy access.
Most of the common ones will be in C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32
and some I thought in C:\Windows\SysWOW64

A complete list of installed Apps including their directory will be displayed by running the command
get-appx-package
in a Powershell.
I'm not a Powershell person - I can redirected to a file, but is there something like pipe to grep in Linux?

Amended:-
Apologies this is all to complicated - the file created from the command above includes 1 entry for 'notepad', instead of the 8 for notepad.exe from the C: drive search. So this is not a route I wish to go down.
