How can I find the source of pop-up: "Software Update The Software has been updated to version 2210.0"?

Windows 11
Problem statement: I got a pop-up windows that reported a software update, but I cannot determine which software was involved. See graphic, below.

System specs.
Hardware: Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC Product number: 49N24AV. 32 GB RAM.
Software: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, updated earlier today (although several hours before the popup appeared). In Settings -> System -> About I see OS Build is 22631.3155

Before I could click on Details, the pop-up disappeared.

When I go to Settings -> Installed Apps and sort by date installed, the only app with today's date is Edge. In 'Installed Apps' the Edge version appears as 1.3.185.17. The Edge app itself reports this in About: "Version 121.0.2277.128.

I fumbled around trying to search Windows event logs, but I was unsuccessful at figuring how to do the search.

I would greatly appreciate any tips!

Try this
Go to Settings/ System /Notifications, and sort Notifications from apps and other.. as Most recent. Latest app that send notification should be at the top (just hope that this means "most recent".. - it is in my case)

AndreTen, thanks for the helpful reply! I was unaware of the function that you pointed out.

I did as you suggested, and it has narrowed down the possibilities. I don't see any notification dates/times, but the item at the top of the most recent list is Settings.

Go to Control Panel ? Programs and Features, search for the version number you specified.
Rollback_Jockey, thank you so much! I had not thought of doing that.

In Programs and Features I don't see see "2210.0" in the Version field.

So, apparently whatever got updated to v2210.0 is not a 'program'.

only recent software updates to version 2210.0 in Google search points to SQL server 2016. Do you have it installed?

One other way see updates (Windows apps) is to look in reliability history in Control panel.

AndreTen, thanks for the additional reply.

I do not have SQL server installed.

I looked through Reliability History in Control Panel for two days surrounding the date of the pop-up and clicked on View Technical Details for each item. I did not see v2210.0 anywhere.

I hope to be able to click on Details if the pop-up appears again in the future.

Thank you your help AndreTen and Rollback_Jockey. You are great!
