Hello!
I recently received a new mobile phone as a gift and I am looking for any way to transfer my game progress of some games to the new phone. The old is running Android 8.0 Oreo and the new is running Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0.213.0 based on Android 15. Both phones are NOT rooted. The old cannot be rooted, unless I wipe it and install a custom ROM. No thanks. Of course I haven't tried to root the new phone, I don't want to risk damaging it. Is there any application that can make a FULL backup of a game, including the game progress, and then restore to a new phone? Either from one Android phone to the other or through the PC. It's not convenient to have reached over 500 level and start from level 1!!!!
Google says there is Helium Backup, but it doesn't work properly on newer Android versions. I managed to do a local backup, but I cannot restore it to the new phone. I could not backup to Google drive as I need the Premium version to restore, and I could not make a backup to Dropbox because of some error. Even if I could, Helium doesn't work properly on the new phone, so I cannot restore. According to Google another option is to backup using commands, but I don't know what to do. If anyone is kind enough to guide me step-by-step or recommend another app that doesn't require a rooted phone, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
