how do i change the windows11 logon user interface? (Not the background)

hello, as many of you probably know im trying to make windows 11 look like windows 7. now im making a windows 7 look a like with windows 11. i have almost figured out how to change the boot screen just havent tested my therory yet. now im asking on how do i change the ui of the windows 11 logon screen and make it look like windows 7/ windows 8?

Why dont you just use Autologin and be logged in automatically and it will skip the login screen altogether..

Are you referring to the authui.dll? That as far as I know isn't possible with 10/11

You want to have the Windows 7 square account pictures rather than the circular Windows 10/11 pictures? I think this can be done with Winaero Tweaker which can also keep the background image focused rather than blurred. You can also remove the lock screen and be presented with the available users directly. I don't remember which thread I read it from. Try Winaero Tweaker first. If you want to use Windows 7 (or other version) user account pictures, it can be done. Just copy the respective pictures from Windows 7 into a folder and set the desired picture for your account. I think they are at C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\UserAccount or similar. I have even copied the user account pictures from Windows XP.

i want to know how to bring back the windows 7 ui elements. the dialog box where you type in your pass word and the old pictuer interface. mainly the center of the screen. see the attached picture.

Once you dismiss the lock screen, the new Windows 11 sign-in screen is practically the same other than the newer modern UI like below.

I'm not aware of a way to change the modern UI since that is hard coded into Windows 11.

I must admit I admire your tenacity bordering on stubborness since this is your third thread with the same question.
As I answered before, assuming you would be able to decompile/recode and recompile all this
while miracurously keeping the same file hash values, it would get wiped out with the next patch/update
or a simple sfc command.

dose anyone know where the logon files are located and on how to edite them?

So I have a found a program called log on ui changer by star dock software incorporated. But the problem is this software doesn’t work on windows 11 or windows 10. Now my whole goal here is to change windows 11 back to windows 7. I have a theme found and it works really well. But how ever there are still some graphical glitches with it. Which I don’t think those will ever be fixed. But I plan also getting back the windows 7 login screen back into windows 11. I have also figured out how to change the windows 11 boot screen as well. It’s a hit or miss but still a work in progress. Im planning on converting the modern ribbon ui back to the old file explore, and the old windows sounds back if not custom ones Im going to see if I can have a friend make for me. Then I plan of having a custom windows Curso or just use the windows 7 cursor pack. Will also be bringing back task manager, windows 7 icons, windows 7 start Menu and taskbar, gadgets as well. Balloon notifications, and other features will be implemented into this custom iso as well. I call it windows reborn. A thing on what windows should look like in my opinion in December 2022/2023. I’ll have a YouTube video made soon on my findings and my update progresses. Should I create a new forum about my custom iso?
