That was the solution, appreciate that big time! But I dont want to see "recommended" in the start menu which is a side effect of enabling recent files in the settings. Is there a way to remove recommended without disabling recent files?are all of the settings correct?

you can use Chris Titus powershell tool to disable Recommended in start menu (its just a powershell gui, no installation)

or you can use vivetool to enable the new start menu (no install. just run cmd as admin in extracted folder)
