Hey,
out of a blue, Windows 11 started to show me two languages at the bottom right of the taskbar: US English and UK English.

How can I get rid of the UK English??

If I go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region > Options I see only the US English in the Keyboard Layouts section. Hence I cannot remove the UK one .... ??

Try adding a UK English keyboard, then remove it.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October.

As @Bree said, What do you see when you click on the 3 dots after US Qwerty, just the one option?

In fact, this settings does not seem to be related at all to what is shown in the taskbar switcher: even if I remove all English layouts (and keep e.g. only French) that taskbar switcher still shows UK and US keyboards ...

I think I found the issue:

The "Windows display language" setting was set to UK English which seems to add that UK English keyboard in the taskbar switcher. I installed the "US English" as my windows language and remove the UK one. The switcher is now completely gone which is what I wanted.

That's soo confusing :scream:
