How to create custom windows with all software

Seems to me it would be a daunting task, a lot of rewriting Windows. The issue as I see it involves copying files to their proper location in Program Files and/or Program Files (x86) and/or ProgramData AppData folders, creating the icons the way the install procedure of each program does it, writing the Registry and copying support files such as .dll into the Windows folder.

A more practical solution could be imaging your current installation. Some imaging software has a provision to restore to different hardware.
