Solved How to cycle between multiple input languages?

In older versions of Windows, I was able to cycle between at least six input languages by pressing the keyboard shortcut left Alt-Shift. That keyboard shortcut is configurable, but left Alt-Shift is the default. However, even after having installed multiple input languages, when I type this keyboard shortcut it only cycles between the default language and the first additional input language that I installed. How can I change it back to the way it was with earlier versions of Windows, so that I can cycle among all installed input languages?

The Windows + Space shortcut does the same thing as left Alt-Shift.
However, I have a peculiar thing to add: I have two W11 computers: a laptop and a desktop. I got mixed up about which computer I've been having the problem on. I can cycle between input languages on my laptop, but not my desktop. I'll post the hardware specs soon.

Yes one just cycle to next IL, while the other one pops up the list and then you can cycle it.

What you need to do is navigate to:
Settings -> Time & Language -> Language & region.
There you can add preferred languages and then under each language you can add preferred input method. Then you can cycle through each using the shortcut keys.

This still isn't the way it was before. I am a very fast typist and I don't want to use the mouse to choose a language. In older versions of Windows I could, and on my W11 laptop, I still can cycle among all the input languages I have installed. But not on my desktop. All the input languages appear to be installed. I haven't tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them, but I'll try that next.

Thanks for the specs...but they are not that useful in this case. Does not the menu come up when you press LALT + LSHIFT?

What I suspect is, if the shortcuts don't work, that since this is a desktop computer, you have either installed some software that overrides the shortcut or you have modified the shortcut in some software that was intended to be a local app change but instead affected the whole system.

I figured it out.
In the Time & language > Language & region dialog box, six languages showed as installed. However, I only recall having installed French. When I installed W11, I was connected to my Microsoft account, and I seem to recall seeing a message that W11 would adopt my settings, etc., from my other W11 installation. So, when the other five languages appeared in the Time & language > Language & region dialog box, I assumed that they had been installed automatically because they were on my other W11 computer. The problem was that the keyboard shortcut left Alt-Shift only allowed me to switch back and forth between English and French. So, I uninstalled the other languages and reinstalled them. Now, the left Alt-Shift keyboard shortcut DOES work for all languages. There was apparently a problem with the automatic installation of the languages on the basis of my other W11 installation.
So, if anyone else has this problem, I recommend uninstalling the installed languages and reinstalling them.
