How to get Permission from a NAS

Can anyone please tell me how the hell do you get Permission from a NAS to add Items to folders??? all i get is PERMISSION IS NOT GRANTED FOR THIS ACTION. How do i get rid of this??? I'm using Windows 10................sorry!!

I don't know much about NAS maybe below tutorial help.

This depends on what NAS you have... ex. QNap, Terra-Master, Synology.... we need to know that first...

But, the most likely answer is you have to log into the NAS via it's interface and find the folders/shares in the settings and check they are set to Read/Write and not just Read.

I set my NAS to have guest-type access and Map the Public folder on my main computer then I create subfolders with the same name of my other computers and on them only Map the folder with the same name as the computer. No password needed but the login to the Router is restricted.

You obviously don't have things configured correctly. It would also help if you provided a bit more information.

What NAS? How are you trying to access it? Is it properly configured? These minimum questions answered "might" be able to provide a fix. What won't provide a fix is guesswork due to lack of posted info.

Additionally, if you're running Windows 10, why are you posting your issue in a Windows 11 forum?
