Hi everyone,

My safe-to-eject disk list includes 3 of my internal hard disks. How can I remove them from the list? I have searched and cannot find anything. The disks are only my mechanical drives. For some reason, my SSD disks are not there. I can remember doing this in Windows last time I installed it but cannot recall how or find a link in my bookmarks.

you can try the registry tweak here:

OR use Hotswap! and choose the disk types to show as removable (its a portable app)

This happens if the SATA ports have hot swap enabled in BIOS (aka UEFI firmware). Go in BIOS, see the storage settings and disable hot swap.

I turned off hot swap in the bios. That solved the problem. Thanks for the help!

For which the non professionals like me are extremely grateful. When I was active on Tenforums, I sometimes did posts about that.
