Solved How to require sign-in after sleep, but ONLY after sleep, not just inactivity

Can I just make another suggestion?

Regardless of the sleep behavior / sleep state, when leaving with your laptop, you could simply press WinKey + L to lock the computer. From there, you would be required to unlock the computer either using Windows Hello, Pin, Password, or security key.

Thanks. I have a hard time remembering hotkeys I don't use frequently, but I see that Lock is also on the Start->User menu - that appears to be the same thing. I'm fairly satisfied with my current arrangement (with S0 disabled, and lid closed triggering hibernation) for most situations, but when I need to step away for short periods, locking instead of hibernating would be efficient. And perhaps your tip will help others who end up reading this thread.
