How to Set Explorer View Permanently in Win11?

Hi all, is there a way or registry method to permanently set explorer view to a certain type? Cos using the folder options/apply method only works for a while. eventually everything switches to some other view. Also tried doing this in the general directory C, or My PC, not much effect. Many years ago when i was still using win7, i posted the same issue in sevenforums, there was no real resolution. i was told that the problem appears to be because there are mixed file types not inside the folder you are setting, and folders with those file types somewhere else on your pc won't get affected by 'apply to all'. Something like that. was hoping there is a workaround anyone knows. in fact, i wouldnt mind completely destroying all other view options in favor of my chosen, if there is a way in registry to do this, i would be happy to try it.

I've set my File Explorer view to be my OneDrive folder, as this is where I keep all my data and photos.
1. Click on 3-dot hamburger menu.
2. Click on Options.
3. "Open File Explorer to: " has a drop down box. I chose "Gary - Personal".

I also removed the items in the left panel that I don't use or want to see.

Now whenever I open File Explorer, this is what I see every time:
