this is my monitor and I had it for over a year now / some how it has AUDIO but i cant or haven't figured it out

how to set the AUDIO

any help much appreciated

What type connection are you using from the computer to the monitor? I have a couple of monitors with speakers built-in, have to use an audio cable from the computer's Speakers out port, usually the light green one, so as to feed the monitor's speakers. Works just like using a headset, if plugged into the port on the computer if working properly should cut out the normal speakers. The cable has the same type plug on each end. Using the HDMI connection is different and there's been lots of posts on the 'net about issues with audio. The only monitor I have with HDMI [ASUS 27"] has been used to repair a notebook with a damaged display.

From what I've seen online this monitor doesn't have built in speakers but it's the internet so that might be wrong. It has a headphones output but that would have to be connected to an amp/powered speakers or speakers connected to the computer.

There's no mention of speakers in the specs in the manufacturer's link you provided.

It has a headphone output, which means that it can accept a digital audio signal and convert it to analog. There is probably a setting in the Sound control panel for that.

I Just looked and all i have back there is 3 HDMI s no other place to plug in cable :unsure:
