Could someone please explain in simple terms (I'm kind of technically challenged) how to make an iso of Windows 11 23H2 using UUDump. Thank you.

Hi. I just did it the other day with 22H2, with help from another thread on here and posts by Ghot.

So once you have downloaded the folder, you extract it and open it and choose the item at the bottom of the list in that folder. Right click on that and select run as administrator. It opens command prompt and runs a script. It takes quite a long time. When it's finished, the iso is in the folder.

However - I couldn't get it to work - and it turned out my antivirus was blocking it. If you only have Windows defender it will just come up with "Don't run" and you can select "run anyways". With Norton, even turning it off temporarily didn't work - I'd probably have had to have uninstalled it. But instead I did it on a different laptop that just had defender on as that was easier.

It would help to add diagrams of what to right click on but I don't have the folder any more. I'll see if I can find Ghot's post as it had diagrams/photos.....

In addition to the Ghost message, I want to add that after launching the uup_download_windows.cmd file, a file appears ReadMe.html with pretty detailed instructions on how to build the image. It's just a pity that after the launch. I'm applying it. There's a lot of interesting stuff there for those who want to optimize their image right away. File - ReadMe.html.
