Solved How to use WordPad, Paint, Task Manager from Windows 10?

I can use perfectly WordPad, Paint and Task Manager from Windows XP. I just copy them from system32 folder.
But from Windows 10, does not work. I should copy other files except the executable? And if so, wich ones?

How to get classic Notepad or classic Wordpad on (24H2 or 25H2)

For classic Notepad... This is probably the same as the @Brink tutorial... but this is how I did it. AND... double clicking on a text file... opens in the old Notepad...

I have some confusion about wnat XP or Windows 10 has to do with Windows 11. Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?
In either, there's no need to copy any executables to use those apps. P[en the start menu, Find the apps in the "all apps" list.. Drag the app to the desktop which creates a link(ie shortcut) to the app.

I installed Classic WordPad and it works just great. No need for MicroSoft Office anymore!
But I have a question about Paint and Task Manager: They will replace Windows 11 versions? I want to keep both.

yes you can install both and use both as and when required.
the older versions wont overwrite the newer versions and vise versa.

Yes it does, For Paint, It specifically states "You will be able to launch it as "mspaint.exe" from the Run dialog or from the taskbar's search box or from the Start menu. No system files will be replaced. It will be installed alongside the default built-in Paint app."
For task manager it states "how you can get it back without replacing any system files or modifying permissions" so no it does not replace Windows 11 task manager.
