Hi everyone,
I am running into a major issue where I can no longer print to my new HP 9120 printer following the Windows 11 25H2 update. Everything worked fine prior to 25H2.

Environment
  • Printer: HP 9120 (connected via Wi-Fi on the same network as the laptop)
  • OS: Windows 11 version 25H2
  • Other devices: Printing from my Apple 17 phone still works properly over the network

Problem
Whenever I send a document to print from my laptop, nothing reaches the queue. The document count on the printer icon in the system tray simply stays at 0, and there appears to be zero communication reaching the print queue.

What I tried
  • Resetting the print spooler service
  • Emptying the spooler folder
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the printer roughly 10 times
Rolling back from 25H2 is no longer an option for me because it has already been past the 10-day window. I have seen several posts where other users resorted to performing a clean reinstall of Windows 11 just to stay on 24H2 and bypass 25H2, as it seems to be a widespread issue.

Does anyone have any thoughts, workarounds, or fixes for this? I am open to trying anything at this point.
Thank you all so much!
