Hi.
Hyper-V Enhanced mode only works with a fresh install of Windows.
I try to add my windows VHDX of 10 x64 Pro and10 x32 Pro VHDX that I clone with paragon to have a VHDX from my various laptos and everything works very well but is impossible to have enhance mode.
If I install a fresh x64 Pro or x32 Pro from a new virtual machine freshed installed it allways works with enhanced mode.
I conclude that when we create a new VHDX hdd in hyper-V and make a fresh install windows stays with something inside OS that permits that function.
Belive me I work in TI many years and I try everything, from VHDX to external fisical HDD, nothing turns on the enhanced mode, only a fresh install.
Can anyonel HELP please?

Existing VHDX must be Pro or greater, not Home.

You must have RDP enabled in VHDX file.

Turn off Windows Hello.

Also, vhdx file must also have the boot partitions..

Legacy bios vhds must also be gen 1, and uefi Gen 2.

More specifically, Windows Hello for logging in cannot be used required on the VMs.

If using MS account and enhanced mode, "Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts" must be OFF.
Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.

See Windows 11 and Hyper V enhanced session. in the thread about this very issue.
