Has anyone out there succeeded in running HyperOs 2016 with Windows 11 or have an updated email address for Gordon Ritchie, who wrote it? His companies have gone bust, which is such a shame for the creator of possibly the greatest ever Windows utility.

In my personal opinion, this is far more complicated than the average user would ever need.

Also, a more advanced user would know how to do most of what it claims anyway without such a tool.

Buy another pc? If I bought one everytime a pc failed to boot, I would be destitute.

Just make regular image backups. Virtually all modern imaging tools are practically plug and play when it comes to doing a full backup and full restore. Ok a few clicks maybe but very easy.

I would not even trust a tool last updated nearly a decade ago.

--------------------------

Why Everyone Running Windows Should Have HyperOs

You have one copy of Windows on your PC. It crashes. It will not restart. You are finished. You buy another PC. You spend the rest of your life worrying that this new one will crash. As a result you do not try any new applications in your new PC and it effectively becomes frozen.

I have been using various iterations of HyperOs for more than 20 years and your comments clearly show that you fail to understand what it is capable of.

Learn how to use imaging tools, native boot vhdx files, Hyper-V etc, and one can do virtually everything that tool claims to do.

As I CLEARLY stayed the tool seems to be overcomplicated for average domestic consumer.

The first paragraph in link is ridiculously patronising.

Vms are fun too just fond memories of hyperos just went downhill a bit from win8.

Thats an interesting set of accounts there (above link to Companies House): the company was dissolved in 2011 with net debts of £35k - but had been in greater trouble in preceding years - in 2008 they were in the hole for £600k, largely due to owing creditors that much. I can't see any info on how they got that debt down. No info on turnover or profit/loss. That may be filed elsewhere.
