If you’re not keeping you files or apps etc, you could always just clean install Windows It;’s basically the same thing.

Alternatively, you could try the following then try to reset again.

  • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

  • Run the following commands, one at a time, pressing Enter after each:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

  • After DISM completes, run:
    sfc /scannow

If you backed up your files or not interested in saving them, then do a Clean Install.

Boot off of a Windows 11 Installer USB Flash drive.
Choose your Language.
Choose Install Now, then Custom Install.
In Where would you like to install Windows?
Delete ALL Partitions until the drive is all Unallocated Space
Then Press Next. Windows will create new partitions and format them during the install.

If this fails, than your HDD/SSD may be failing and need to be replaced.

Here is a Tutorial from this forum to perform a clean install. As I mentioned, it’s really no different than a Reset, it’s better than a Reset.
There could be many reasons why you can’t reset the PC. None that I believe are worth worrying about.
