I can not make SetupVPN to connect

Hi

I like this app setupvpn and it work great on Chrome as a plugin but I never able to make it work on Windows 11. I alwayes get this screen running server number count down, then I get this error

TXT Failed. Taking Fallback​

any idea to make it work ?

The error suggests DNS issues.

Have you enabled encrypted DNS setting in Windows?
if yes, then turn it off.

You can find the setting in:
Settings -> Network & Internet -> Your NIC -> DNS server assignment.

I can not find this in Wifi settings only ethernet

If you tried everything about DNS then the app itself is having issues.

I've taken a look at google store to see what this app is about.
An alternative that sets system wide proxy and let's you choose from servers world wide is:

pshiphon 3 is open source and is used for censorship circumvention.
It can also be used as VPN although it's not strictly VPN but a proxy service.
