Solved I Cannot Turn Off The Clipboard

I had intended to log on here to finish a thread, as I suddenly remembered how to easily copy and save an image of a speed test. Regrettably, I found that when I copied my UserID from my password manager and, with the cursor in the UserID of the log-on page, when I used Ctrl + V to copy the information, instead of seeing my ID, I was seeing something about the Clipboard.

My next step was to search the Tutorials, where I found one with an option to clear the Clipboard, so I clicked on that, sending me to a non-existent next step. That not helping me, nor did a few on-line articles about this problem being equally unhelpful, I am now here, after entering the log-on data character by character, to ask how do I get rid of the Clipboard pop-up so that I can again use Ctrl + V to enter the requisite password manager in the log-on screen?

Usually, you only see the Clipboard History pop-up if you pressed the Win+V keys instead.

You should be able to use option 4 or 5 below to disable Clipboard History.

It is entirely possible that I have been using Win + V without even realizing it. I have been encountering so many problems that I have found myself doing things I am used to doing, but not the way that they should be used. Thanks for the tip; 4 0r 5 I had not even seen, assuming that the earlier ones would work. Of course, what might also work would be to press the proper keys....
