I think I am cursed

Just for curiosity sake, what kind of a Mini PC is this (make/model)? By chance is the CPU soldered on the MB?

It's an AceMagic AD08 with the i9-11900H CPU. I'm not 100% sure if socketed. I could not tell without pulling heatsink and I wanted to first find out what AceMagic charges for service.

I never use a UPS. I have had two PSUs fails on desktops and a UPS would not have helped. Anyway, Windows is pretty good at recovering from a power outage nowadays. I remember when a power outage would lead to a "HAL could not be found' and it was quicker to reinstall Windows than fix the problem!

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
I'm starting to think that I am cursed and worried that all my electronic devices will file a restraining order preventing me from getting within 100 yards of them.
Just because your paranoid it doesn't mean they're not out to get you!

Since you've eliminated the memory and SSD's, there's not a whole lot left. Since most mini-PC products have the processor soldered to the motherboard, and you're out of warranty, I'd probably be looking at replacement. Virtually all the electronics left after you remove the SSD's and the RAM is integrated into the motherboard. Obviously, it might makes sense to contact AceMagic and see what a swap would cost.

I consider it an expendable item. I have an inquiry with them to find out what service would cost, but I may just put the cost of service towards a new much more powerful system. I'm always looking for an excuse :-)
