Using the beta version is not mandatory, but it is open to anyone who would like to help with testing. By participating in testing and sharing your feedback, you can help improve and further develop this outstanding application.I'm well aware of the beta version, but wouldn't risk years of work with it, and I have a distrust of betas in general. When it's out of beta, yes.
No car payment here my friend, and when I did it was only $250 a month (U.S.) , there is absolutely no reason to have a mortgage payment as a car payment.

I see reports from 2024 where people got 4 computers for a year for 50usd, this is already big inflation compared to 8.x, but what about today's pricing?
£73 (approx 90-100usd) per year, and its claimed the normal price is double that, in 2 years the price has more or less doubled. 3 year term offers 10% off, but the clear real benefit is inflation proofing for 3 years. However still horrific compared to the old model. This is why ongoing to subscription rarely works for the consumer, instead of going from something like £50 lifetime to £5 per year they go from something like £50 lifetime to £75 year.
8.1 has some pretty minor issues of which all have a workaround, losing that licence for X is bonkers in terms of common sense for the typical home user, and it doesnt mean you need to find an alternative either, EOL doesnt mean software stops working, there seems to be a mindset in the modern era, that if software has no active development, then it cant be used.
Keep those old license people, and just keep on using it. Why isnt this an option on the poll?
