I'm lost on enabling secure boot

Just a quick tip also, sometimes platform keys get corrupted or "locked". Clearing CMOS may help in this case and create new random key.

Before clearing the CMOS (and loosing all you BIOS settings/custom settings) you might check you have the option to reset the keys in the in the BIOS itself...

There's also this advanced screen, but it isn't for the faint of heart. And no, I've not messed with it either

It is not entirely definite as to whether secure boot is required to be running
This is from Microsoft's website:
While the requirement to upgrade a Windows 10 device to Windows 11 is only that the PC be Secure Boot capable by having UEFI/BIOS enabled, you may also consider enabling or turning Secure Boot on for better security.
I think the key word here is "capable."

I had a lot of trouble with Secure Boot on one of my systems. I kept seeing "enabled" and thought it was . . . nope! I then clicked on Enabled and it now works! I think it depends on your BIOS (sometimes they're a third language all by themselves).

On my Gigabyte Z390 there's this weird issue where I have to do a double reboot between disabling CSM and enabling Secure Boot. The BIOS tells me Secure Boot can't be enabled unless I reboot. I think it's enabling/setting the keys, reboot back into the BIOS than enable Secure Boot.

In my BIOS, I got the message about the keys needing to be installed. The solution was to go into custom mode, do restore factory keys, enable secure boot, and then return to Standard mode. Do the save and exit thing and the machine reboots and all should be well.

In order to enable Secure Boot, you need to disable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) in the BIOS as well. Be aware that your GPU will have to support UEFI, otherwise there could be issues since non-UEFI cards require CSM - which is case kills Secure Boot.

The good thing is all modern GPU's sold within at least the last 6 years should meet this requirement. And of course you'll also need to be in UEFI mode to enable Secure Boot.

Good luck.
This solved for me

Use other compatibility checker.

It will say "Secure Boot Not Supported", and Check while it runs the check, Click anything on the CMD window when you see "Secure Boot not Supported on your current (Boot method (CSM enabled/Legacy), Motherboard (incorrectly configured Secure Boot, MB doesn't support Secure Boot (on the current BIOS version, or all versions)), and screenshot it

It will say Secure Boot Unsupported

    This is my backup system.
In my case, I thought I had Secure Boot turned on, but kept getting the report that I needed Secure Boot. Once I figured out it was off, I turned it on and my computer then passed.

That was back when Windows 11 was first released to Insiders.
