Solved I'm wasting 4" of my monitor


I forgot to say my monitor is 24" Dell, given me by a client from her husband's estate. I seldom use it Maximized and hardly ever Full Screen.

It's set to 1920x1080
Can you measure the top portion, above where it says Forums on the left.
Hard to tell, but yours looks less than 4"?

Rather than set the scale to 125% leave it at 100%, then try going to Settings > Accessibility > Text Size and adjust the text size there.

That should make reading the text easier. The text size will effect all programs.

BTW, I reduced the size of the text font and low and behold, that worked!. I'm liking Win 11 but with my OCD, it can get kinda frustrating. Thanks: Guys/Gals

This is Chrome, full screen, no page zoom, 3840x2160 resolution external monitor from Laptop, 125%DPI, text size maxed out...

Another possibility is you may not have a display driver installed and are defaulting to using the Microsoft Display adapter driver. Verify it in device manager>expand display adapters to see if that might be the case.

When what you see goes out of whack, set everything(scale,zoom) to 100% and work gradually from there to change the settings.Those letters look HUGE to me, way bigger than 125% system scale. Set your browser's zoom level to 100% and tweak gradually.
