Images in all my Folders are not showing

As of yesterday All my images in my folders do not show what they are. All it is showing is a Paint shop pro icon (I have attached to show)Image11.jpg
Does anyone know how I can get my images back. This is driving me crazy. I do have Paint Shop Pro installed, but this has never happened before. Thanks for any help..

The first step is ensure that "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is not checked and then do a Restart.

If that doesn't help, try resetting the thumbnail cache. See:

Go to Settings/Apps/Default Apps. in the search bar type Photos app., click the right arrow , choose the extension of your photos (ie) .jpeg etc Choose the App you prefer to open the images with (ie) Photos.
Or Right click any photo and choose Properties . Next to Open With click the Change button. Choose the app you want to open the picture with click the Set Default button. All pics with that extension (ie).jpeg etc will now change the icon to the app you chose.

I think the OP is looking for thumbnails, but it's possible that changing the file associations from Paint Shop Pro to Photos will resolve the thumbnail issue.

It's small and fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure that's a painter's palette and therefore must be the Paint Shop Pro icon. 😉
