Hello
I just built this PC and it fired right up, everything looked good then out of no where BSOD. It was so quick I couldn't even see the details on the Blue screen before it shutdown and restarted. It happened a lot at first but now it's down to once or maybe twice a day.

My windows 11pro version is 21H2 (OS Build 22000.739)

There were approximately 25 to 30 BSOD in 7 days.

None of the BSOD created dump files.

There were approximately 6 missed BIOS upgrades.

1) The BIOS: Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 0503, 9/10/2021

Upgrade the BIOS: 0503 > 1504

2) Please install the drive RAID controller:

RAID Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_467F&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_00\3&11583659&0&70 The drivers for this device are not installed.

3) Also consider installing the network controller

4) Download and install:

5) Run the Intel Driver and Support Assistant > post images or share links displaying the drivers with available updates

7) Run: (currently requires a Ten Forums logon)
Post a share link into this thread.

8) Open device manager > click view > click show hidden devices > manually expand all rows > look for any row displaying a yellow triangle with black exclamation mark or unknown device > post images into this thread

9) For any new BSOD post a new V2 share link into the newest post

Disconnect all attached drives that don't contain Windows 11 and from BIOS setup utility make sure Windows 11 installed storage drive is the first boot drive.

I only have the one SSD. And it shows up in the BIOS as a bootable drive but not on start up.

Okay a quick update if interested. The bios did update to 1504. I was able to run the tuneup logger from Tenforum. I’ll post it when I’m back on one of the pcs. The Seatool I’m not sure what’s going on. I don’t get the options it says I should but there was one for SSD so I picked it. It’s running I think.
I only have the one SSD drive at present so I can’t run any RAID.
I must have selected something in the BIOS that was preventing my boot up because it’s booting up fine now.
I’ll continue to run in the updates and the recommended logging programs and see what happens.
I didn’t use to be this simple but old age is getting to me I guess.
Thanks

I really what to thank you for all your help. I thought things were fix but I'm now getting an OBDS error that says Critical_Process_DIED.
1. I update my BIOS to 1504
2. At present I only have the one SSD. I do plan to upgrade to a second SSD but at present I still only have the one. So I have not done anything about the RAID.
3. I installed the network controller.
4. I installed and ran an attached a copy.
7.& 8. files attached.

The were no collected dump files.

The logs recorded these BSOD bugchecks:

EF = CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
21A = WINLOGON_FATAL_ERROR

The logs were loaded with corrected hardware errors.

It appeared that all collected entries in the system event viewer logs were corrected hardware errors

.

Uninstall Bitdefender with the applicable uninstall tool.

Use only Microsoft Defender during the troubleshooting.

A brand new computer should not have BSOD nor corrected hardware errors.

Consider swap testing the CPU to see if the corrected hardware errors disappear or remain.

zbook,
First once again let me express my thanks for your help.

I can't swap out my CPU this is the first Intel PC I've built all the others were AMD. Guess I should have stayed with AMD.
At present I'm having a hard time with my internet. Just switched to T-Mobile and I guess there are/were having tower problems and my internet is sketchy at best new gateway coming so hopefully that gets fixed.
I did uninstall Bitdefender and am using Windows Defender.

At this point should I go ahead and run the logging programs? I’m going to disable PCI-Express Native Power Management in BIOS since I’m getting error code 0xc000021a and it is pointing to the PCI Express root. Or should I not do that?

I’ve contacted Western Digital because the WD SES Device USB is showing an error but I don’t think there will be any help there because it isn’t hardware related. But every time I try to update the drivers I get:

“Windows found drivers for your device but encountered as error while attempting to install them. The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalog.”

Where do I go from here?

When there are BSOD Windows will name a location that may or may not be related to the crash.
For example, almost all WHEA errors blame the CPU but they may be caused by motherboard, CPU, GPU, Drive, RAM, and even drivers.
So you cannot rely on the message see on the monitor or in the Windbg results.

For most hardware problems swap testing is required to identify the malfunctioning component.
Some can be determined by the type of the bugcheck, the entries in the log files, etc.

At this time there is something clearly wrong with the very large number of corrected hardware errors.
It should not be tolerated on a brand new system even if there are no hangs, freezes, or BSOD.
Nobody know when and if the corrected hardware errors will turn into uncorrected or fatal errors.
It's best to swap test the hardware and once the component is identified replace it.
This then gives you confidence that your starting with a stable computer environment.

See if you can find a friend, neighbor, relative, or local computer store to swap test the CPU.
The CPU can be AMD or Intel.

Also check Amazon, and web based computer stores for purchase and return policies.

Run these Microsoft Windows troubleshooters using administrative command prompt:

msdt.exe -id WindowsUpdateDiagnostic
msdt.exe -id PowerDiagnostic
msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic
msdt.exe -id NetworkDiagnosticsNetworkAdapter

I do have my original PC and another I built for my wife. My old PC is an Asus Sabertooth FX 970 R2 with an AMD FX-8350 CPU, Geforce GTX 1071 Ti, and DDR3 ram. But my wife is a MSI Gaming 470 with a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, Geforce GTX 1660Ti and 32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15.
So I can switch out some of the components with her PC. The one thing I will not be able to swap out is the CPU.
The CPU, ram, cooler and motherboard came from Amazon. While the GPU came from EVGA and the SSD came from Western Digital.
