Wireless devices free us of cables and hassle, but remembering to charge them can create unnecessary friction. Today’s users expect simplicity, reliability, and an intuitive, hassle-free experience that just works. Signature Slim Solar+ delivers just that. It stays charged without interruptions and is built to run for up to four months in complete darkness, so people can stay focused on what truly matters to them.

“Even the need to think about charging can be a distraction, so we designed Signature Slim Solar+ to take that off your plate completely,” said Art O'Gnimh, General Manager of Core Products Group at Logitech. “It stays powered by light - any light - clearing your desk of cables and eliminating the need to ever physically charge it, while bringing elegance and comfort to your workspace. That's one less thing to worry about on a busy working day.”

Looks like an MX Keys with a solar panel. I used its predecessor, the K750, for over 10 years and bought several during that time. The solar charging never worked for any of them. I ended up taping over the solar panels with electrical tape and using a regular non-rechargeable CR2032, which lasted seemingly forever. I moved to an MX Keys a couple years ago because I wanted the device switching, and this new keyboard has that. On the downside, it also abandons the traditional function key layout with the grouped keys for the MX Keys' uniform layout. I mitigated that by sticking these little rubber bumpers on the keyboard to delineate the groups.

I also put a LightDim over the charging LED in the top right. I use this keyboard with its lights turned off, and one thing that really annoyed me is that the device keys 1/2/3 above insert/home/pgup would briefly illuminate for the active device every time the keyboard woke up, which was frequently throughout the day. I solved that problem by popping the keycaps off and putting a little piece of electrical tape over the LED. Now it's a great keyboard. :)

Yeah Nah
Its not an Illuminated Keyboard as it would probably kill the power too quickly, also they say "sunlight or artificial light" with at least 200 lux illuminance
And as my room is quiet dark hence why I need the illumination and therefore it would struggle to charge unless I take it out in the sun which is pointless.
I'm sticking to my MX Keys for Business Keyboard which I don't mind plugging in a cable once every couple of weeks to charge it while I'm still using it no biggy.
