Settings > Personalization > Colors
Scroll down to the bootm and turn ON: Show accent color on Start and Taskbar

You can also get TranslucentTB from MS Store and it can make the Taskbar... clear.
All you will see is the icons.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
If you use the default color setting (white), then you can't change the taskbar color properly. You must change the color setting to custom and set Windows to dark mode and applications to white. This way it works exactly like in Windows 7/8. Whatever color you choose that goes for the taskbar as well.

It's Black on light themes and White on dark themes, right?
What about custom colors for those icons?
It would be nice to change it.

I thought you mean to change the background taskbar color. As far as I know the icons are white on dark theme and black on light theme, I don't know if there is any way to change this.
