No

An alternative would be (assuming your laptop is always plugged in) to go to power settings and look for something like "don't sleep when lid is closed" or "never sleep".
Then you will have to do a bit of experimenting to see if, no matter the delay, the desired app (skype or whatever) can do what you want.

You may have better luck if you remove hibernate. (use cmd in administrator
powercfg.exe /hibernate off
) Hibernate and sleep oft do not play nice, in my experience and from what I have heard. YMMV!!!
