Did a WU. The KB 5039302 has been at zero download for over an hour.. any comments? thanks, regards....

Edit: Disregard the above - its at 43% after 78 mins? Lets see what it is.........

I believe that WU is designed to run in the background.
After the download starts.. I do a few things but not many.

I don't do anything on the computer until the download starts.

The download should start in less than 5-6 minutes, though.

I'm not that familiar with all the Windows updates settings, but it might be something in there.
Also... it doesn't look like you have a very fast internet connection either?

I have a 300Mbps download speed and sometimes I see around a 4-5 minute delay.
Especially, right after MS releases the update and their servers get swamped.

I'm not familiar with laptops either.
I would check things related to laptops and/or WU settings.

As to the topic, did a Notebook yesterday evening, took about 30 minutes on a 25Mbps connection including reboot back to Desktop. Doing 2 Desktops and another Notebook now.
