This File explorer 3 dots context menu bug is now on this Build too. Open upwards and gets truncated if the window is close to the top of the screen.
Out to the general public too.

Interesting. I didn't see this issue in 2152 but I do have the same issue in a machine that updated to 2161. That's pretty annoying.

As I put a hold on updates past .1742, when checking today I was offered both this and the previous update. Everything went fine. I was sweating though.

Follow-up to the above post:

I just did a clean install of 2161 rather than upgrading a system and the issue is NOT present on that system.

Weird that it is just the 3 dots menu the view and filter open downwards.

Same in Dev and Canary builds. They know how to propagate the bugs but not the fixes.

By the way. Alt Key + 92 does a backslash.

I decided to run the sfc /scannow while in command prompt mode. It completed and came up with a message that said the PC needs to be rebooted to complete the process.

To all people here have trouble with 2161, Do clean install (will install automatically 2033) and then you see 2161 in WU.

Don't hold your breath. I've clean-installed 3 of my 4 PCs and indeed the problem goes away to start with. But it comes back fairly quickly - 2 the following day, and one took 5 days but all 4 of my PCs now have the problem back.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me (CMD on boot).

I translate:

The temporary files directory may not be large enough to perform the operation. This may cause unexpected behavior. Use the /ScatchDir switch to point to a folder with sufficient space. The recommended size is at least 1024 MB.

Also, if I try to do sfc /scannow from there, it always says there are errors and that they have been restored and will be fixed at the next reboot (as it was before this update). If I use the command inside Windows, it says there are no errors.

True, I literally reinstalled Windows 3 times and I had to remove all disks, so I had to redownload onedrive 3 times.
I will wait for an updated ISO and then I will clean install again. I have more important things to do, like Grant's.
