I noticed my Windows Explorer no longer allows Alt+D to type directly in its address bar. Ctrl+L does not work either.

Is this a bug in the new build? A permanent change? Is there a different keyboard command that works?

Both those keyboard shortcuts work for me, but I am running release build 22H2 22621.1992. It might be something you should report in the feedback hub

check for update. As @glasskuter said, latest version is 22621.1992

Right... I was like, I thought the newer builds had higher numbers....

I did put it in Feedback Hub, just was wondering if I was in the wilderness on this one. I saw bug reports on Search Bar in the update but not Explorer...

Only on Search Bar. I put it in, but was wondering if you fine folks had found a workaround...

That build came out only 3 days ago. I haven't seen a report other than yours, but we probably wouldn't since there's not as many running insider builds as the release one. That version should be released to the masses within a couple of months. Surely MS will have fine tuned it by then. If those 2 keyboard shortcuts are being done away with, they should announce it, but usually they don't mess with them for the end run. We have a number of regulars here who run the insider builds. Hopefully one of them will see if they have the same issue as you and report .
